Front End Web Design Pty Ltd (ABN 84 660 746 378) is trading as DevHost for this service. The terms below apply to your use of DevHost and related services provided through this website.

Welcome to Front End Web Design Pty Ltd (ABN 84 660 746 378) (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), trading as DevHost for this service. These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, services, and any related products offered through www.devhost.com.au (“Website”).

By accessing or using our Website or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Website or services.

1. Services provided

Front End Web Design Pty Ltd offers the following professional services:

  • Website design and development
  • Website maintenance and updates
  • Domain registration and hosting
  • SEO and digital strategy consultation

All services are subject to these Terms and any project-specific agreement entered into between you and Front End Web Design Pty Ltd.

We supply digital services and subscriptions only. We do not sell physical goods, so there is no shipping and no returns of merchandise. Refunds and cancellations for paid services and subscriptions are set out in section 3.

2. Project process

  1. Proposal & agreement: A written quote or proposal will be provided and must be accepted in writing.
  2. Deposit: A non-refundable deposit (typically 50%) is required before work commences.
  3. Revisions: Design includes a set number of revisions as specified in the project agreement.
  4. Completion: Final payment is due upon completion of the project and prior to launch or transfer.
  5. Delays: We are not responsible for delays caused by lack of communication or failure to provide necessary content or approvals.
  6. Hosting + Management: Will be billed on a Credit Card monthly subscription basis, processed by NAB.

3. Billing and subscription terms

Hosting availability

After successful signup and payment, your hosted environment is typically available within 1–4 hours. Exact timing can depend on verification, payment authorisation, and third-party systems outside our control.

Subscription plans

We offer a standard hosting and management subscription at $44 AUD per month inc GST, which includes:

  • 2GB server memory
  • 2 CPUs
  • 40GB storage
  • DNS management
  • SSL certificate management
  • WordPress core and plugin updates
  • Daily backups (7-day retention)
  • Ongoing technical support

Custom packages

Tailored subscription plans may be offered depending on the project scope. Any custom pricing or upgraded server requirements will be clearly outlined and agreed upon during the initial proposal and booking phase.

Commencement of billing

Subscription billing commences on the calendar date of website launch, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Payment terms

Clients may choose between monthly or yearly billing. All payments are invoiced in advance and are due within 28 days of the invoice issue date.

We offer a 28-day grace period for overdue invoices. Automated payment reminders will be sent at:

  • Day 7 (overdue notice)
  • Day 14 (second reminder)
  • Day 21 (final reminder)

If the account remains unpaid for more than 60 days, we reserve the right to suspend services, including hosting and website access, until the account is brought current.

Upgrades and downgrades

Clients may request a change to their subscription plan at any time. Pricing adjustments will be prorated based on the date of the change. Upgrades will take effect immediately; downgrades may apply from the next billing cycle.

Cancellations and termination

You may cancel your subscription within any billing period using the account dashboard (sign in and open Account, then use the subscription cancellation option). You can also contact us at management@fewd.com.au if you need help to cancel. No refunds will be provided for partially used billing periods unless required under Australian Consumer Law. You will continue to have access to your website and hosting until the end of your current billing period.

We reserve the right to terminate services if:

  • Payments remain overdue beyond 60 days
  • Terms of service are violated
  • Hosting resources are misused or abused

Refund policy

Subscription fees are non-refundable once the service period has commenced, except where required by law. Annual plans canceled before the term ends are not eligible for a pro-rata refund.

Complaints and disputes

If you have a complaint about our services or billing, email management@fewd.com.au with a clear description of the issue. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 business days and will work with you in good faith to resolve the matter. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under Australian Consumer Law.

If you disagree with a card charge, you may raise a dispute with your card issuer in addition to contacting us. Where a charge is successfully disputed through your bank, we will follow the outcome required by the card scheme and applicable law.

Payments and card security

This website is served over TLS (HTTPS). Card payments are completed through the NAB Gateway secure checkout (including hosted payment fields). Sensitive card data and tokenisation are handled by National Australia Bank in line with PCI DSS requirements. DevHost does not store your full card number; we may retain references and limited card details returned by NAB (such as brand and last four digits) to operate your subscription and show billing history.

GST and pricing

All pricing is listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and includes GST unless otherwise stated.

4. Client responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and timely content, feedback, and materials.
  • Ensure that all provided content does not violate copyright, trademark, or intellectual property laws.
  • Maintain backups of any data or materials submitted.

5. Intellectual property

  • Ownership of the final website design and content transfers to you upon full payment, unless otherwise stated in writing.
  • We reserve the right to showcase completed work in our portfolio and promotional materials.
  • Any third-party plugins, stock images, or software components remain subject to their respective licences.

6. Hosting and domains

  • Hosting includes basic support as outlined in your hosting plan.
  • You are responsible for the timely renewal of your domain name(s) and hosting account(s).
  • We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or third-party service interruptions.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate a project in writing. In the event of termination:

  • Work completed to date will be invoiced and payable.
  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • We reserve the right to retain completed work until outstanding payments are made in full.

8. Liability

We provide all services “as is” and make no guarantees regarding:

  • Website performance, search engine rankings, or future results.
  • The security of your site or third-party vulnerabilities.
  • Loss of data, loss of revenue, or consequential damages.

9. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without notice. Continued use of our services after such changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms and any disputes arising under them are governed by the laws of Australia. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia for any legal proceedings relating to our services.
